This Defender wanted to lose its hard top and head for the coast. Painted in Nardo Grey, this restoration and LHD conversion started with a new galvanized chassis and a fully rebuilt and upgraded transfer case. Front and rear factory axles were upgraded and installed with a 2″ lift. Power is provided by an LS3, mated to a six-speed automatic and running factory A/C. Inside, a light grey interior with leather seats is complemented by a wooden floor in the cargo area and a wooden steering wheel. LED lighting all around, sitting on Sawtooth wheels, and sporting a winch in the unlikely event it gets into a tricky situation.
